JCM Global Reflects on a Strong ICE Barcelona 2026

JCM Global has wrapped up a highly successful appearance at ICE Barcelona 2026, following three days of strong engagement, high-value meetings and positive feedback from operators, manufacturers and industry partners across EMEA and beyond.

Exhibiting on Stand 3M50, the JCM Global EMEA team welcomed a steady flow of visitors keen to explore the company’s latest advancements in cash handling, validation and systems integration – all with a clear focus on automation, security and operational efficiency.

Spotlight on New and Expanded Solutions

A major highlight of the show was the continued momentum behind UBA Ultra, JCM’s next-generation banknote validator, designed to deliver exceptional validation speed, advanced anti-fraud protection and secure storage in demanding gaming environments.

Alongside this, visitors saw strong interest in the UBA Pro 2 BNF, reinforcing the platform’s position as a trusted solution for operators seeking reliability, flexibility and seamless system compatibility.

JCM also demonstrated how its wider systems ecosystem – including ICB and Ticket2Go – enables operators to build smarter, connected payment environments, supporting both cash and hybrid workflows while improving data visibility and operational control.

Industry Recognition at ICE

ICE Barcelona 2026 also provided the setting for a significant moment of industry recognition for JCM Global, with Payam Zadeh, General Manager EMEA and Managing Director UK, receiving a prestigious Casino International Outstanding Contribution Award.

The award recognises more than 25 years of leadership and service to the land-based gaming sector, including over a decade leading JCM Global’s EMEA and UK operations. In his current dual role, Payam has overseen every aspect of the regional organisation – from sales and marketing through to operations, HR, finance and IT – guiding the business through periods of significant technological evolution.

A specialist in cash handling and payment systems across banking, retail and gaming, Payam has consistently anticipated market shifts and championed future-ready technologies that improve security, automate processes and unlock new efficiencies for casino operators. His leadership has been instrumental in the expansion of JCM’s portfolio across EMEA and the successful deployment of intelligent, reliability-driven solutions.

Receiving the award at ICE, Payam said:

“I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition from Casino International. The strength of our industry has always come from collaboration and a willingness to embrace new technology. I’m fortunate to work with outstanding teams and forward-thinking customers across EMEA and the UK, and I share this recognition with them.”

Conversations That Matter

While product innovation was central, ICE 2026 was equally about collaboration. Across the three days, discussions focused on helping operators:

  • Reduce cash handling time and manual intervention
  • Strengthen revenue protection and security
  • Prepare for evolving payment expectations through hybrid solutions

These conversations underlined the industry’s continued demand for proven, future-ready technologies that deliver measurable operational benefits.

Looking Ahead

Reflecting on the event, the JCM Global EMEA team thanked all customers, partners and industry colleagues who visited the stand, shared insights and contributed to a positive and productive show.

With strong momentum coming out of ICE Barcelona, JCM Global now looks ahead to 2026 with confidence, continuing to invest in technology, partnerships and solutions that support the evolving needs of the land-based gaming sector.
